- Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hickory, NC is seeking a part-time Director of Music/Organist. This person will be responsible for worship planning in co-operation with the pastor; will direct a very talented Chancel Choir, Children�??s Choir and Chime Choir; and will play for all regular worship events. The church organ is a fine Gabriel Kney mechanical tracker pipe organ. Openness to a wide variety of sacred music styles is important. Previous experience in traditional Lutheran worship is preferred. Good people skills are a necessity. Salary is negotiable based upon experience and skills.
