- Description
- The Organist will play for all weekly Sunday morning services (8:00 and 10:30am) as well as occasionally play piano for the Sunday 5pm service. There are also additional evening services in Advent and Lent/Holy Week. The organist would be expected to accompany the adult choir as needed (Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30), and possibly the Children�??s Choir, as needed.
Faith Lutheran is a vibrant and growing LCMS congregation just minutes from Indiana University. In our mission we are �??God�??s Faithful Fellowship, Worshipping and Witnessing�?�, and our musical and liturgical practices reflect that. We are currently seeking to fill all music positions: Organist, Director of Music/Choir Director, and Director of Children�??s Music (choir and bells). We are hopeful that at least two of these positions can be held by one person, if not all three. Compensation for each position will be commensurate with the candidate�??s education and experience.
