- The Director of Children�??s Music is responsible for directing the Faith Alive Children�??s Choir (Sept-Nov. and Jan.-April), which currently rehearses or sings two Sundays a month; directing the Jesus Company handbell choir (3rd - 6th grade) Sunday evenings Sept-April, which plays in worship an average of two times a year; and leading or overseeing music for the Sunday School Choir (the major program being a Living Nativity in December) and Spirit Camp (Vacation Bible School). Faith Lutheran is a vibrant and growing LCMS congregation just minutes from Indiana University. In our mission we are �??God�??s Faithful Fellowship, Worshipping and Witnessing�?�, and our musical and liturgical practices reflect that. We are currently seeking to fill all music positions: Organist, Director of Music/Choir Director, and Director of Children�??s Music (choir and bells). We are hopeful that at least two of these positions can be held by one person, if not all three. Compensation for each position will be commensurate with the candidate�??s education and experience.
