- Director of Youth Music Ministry for 3000 member Memphis Area Church:
Bartlett United Methodist Church is looking for a spiritually committed, energetic and motivated individual to direct middle and high school students in music. The successful candidate will display a passion for Jesus Christ, a love for youth, the ability to work within a large staff setting, and lead ensembles in worship. The Youth Music Director will direct or oversee all music associated with the Youth Music Ministry and will work closely with Director of Music Ministry and Associate Director of Music Ministry. Other responsibilities include: working closely with the Youth Director in carrying out the vision of the BUMC Youth Ministry, recruit and train adult volunteers to serve as leaders, recruit and grow youth handbell ensembles, and provide leadership for several large events throughout the year. Strong keyboard skills a plus. Bachelors in Music or Music Education degree required. Currently a 30 hour week position with benefits available. Job description available upon request.
