- Description
- The Minister of Music/Organist/ Keyboardist/Adult Choir Director is responsible for planning, selecting, coordinating, and conducting or playing all music for one Sunday morning service, one Saturday evening service, all festival services, and seasonal midweek services; leading regular weekly adult choir rehearsals; planning, recruiting, and arranging for any instrumental accompanists needed; ensuring the care and periodic tuning of instruments; and working closely with the Pastor and the Worship/Music/Arts Committee. Some knowledge of Lutheran theology and liturgical practice needed. B.A. in church music or equivalent preferred. Children’s choir experience desirable. 1984 I/8 Casavant tracker with divided manual; Yamaha grand piano.
