- Description
- The accompanist shall be a person who possesses a Christian character and who desires to provide ministry to Our Redeemer's United Methodist Church through music. This person is deemed proficient in sight reading, playing parts in open and closed score, following a conductor, and accompanying a variety of styles of choral music ranging from traditional to contemporary. Accompanist must be able to work with others in a position of responsibility.
Hours Expectations
- Two choir rehearsals, Wed. nights 7:30pm to 9:00pm, Sunday mornings 7:45am to 8:45am.
- Nine months working, September through May, usually 6 services per month four at the first service, two at the second service, with additional special services (IE. Thanksgiving, Lenten Season, Advent) as required.
- Rehearsal time as needed to perform all pieces in a professional manner.
